About prototypes

At MB PRINT, we create full-fledged board game prototypes that closely resemble the final retail versions in appearance and quality. These are complete games – with all components and a box – ideal for testing, presentations, and further publishing work.

We produce prototypes using digital printing technology, with a minimum print run of 10 copies. This allows you to test your game in real-world conditions without having to invest in a large print run at an early stage of the project.

We are able to produce all standard and custom board game components, in any dimensions and configurations, including cards, boards, tokens, playmats, rulebooks, various types of boxes, scorepads, dual-layer player boards, and unusual elements, tailored to your project.

We also offer 3D printing of miniatures (resin) and the option to assemble externally sourced components – both those supplied by you and those ordered by us. These can include pawns, plastic markers, sand timers, bags, or other accessories.

For full transparency: the estimated cost of producing a prototype series of 10 copies of a standard board game (cardboard bottom-lid box, deck of cards, folding board, tokens, and rulebook) is approximately PLN 4,000 net. However, each quote is individual and depends on the number and specificity of components.
